Euan Ebbitt

MSc, MBACP

Hi, my name is Euan (they/them), and I am a registered integrative counsellor who is based in South and East London. I am a non-binary, neurodiverse, queer, white, Scottish person. I currently work with individuals online and in person in E2 and the surrounding area.

I really embody that the person seeking support is the expert and that I am on the journey with them. I have worked in housing support, addiction and learning disabilities and bring this learning to my practice.

I offer support to clients that are transitioning, who are exploring their gender, people who have used substances in the past, depression, anxiety, neurodiversity and people who have experienced homelessness.

In the process of therapy, we can work on your experience of life the present and the past. We can explore how patterns are playing out with people and in your life. I can work open ended and time limited depending on what works best for you.

It is important to find the therapists that works for you so we can arrange a free 15-minute call to see if we are the right fit.

My Approach

I work in an intersectional approach and believe that everyone has a unique experience of the world and look at ways to understand this experience. I work non-judgementally and welcome a discussion about privilege and oppression that can be enacted in the therapeutic space. I have worked with LGBTQIA+ people and have experience working with Gender, Sex and Relationship diverse clients, I work one-to-one with adults over 18.

I have been trained in Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic within a Relational framework. I see the relationship being the driver of change and focus on building a strong and trusting relationship with people. I adapt my therapeutic approach to suit you and your needs.

I am part of a collective of therapists that are committed to community based work which is informed by anti-racist, feminist, queer-affirmative, ecological and spiritual principles, and where everyone is welcomed and treated respectfully.

I understand that finances can be a barrier in accessing therapy. So I offer reduced rates for people that are not working, who are on benefits and students. This can me discussed in our initial phone call.

Location

I work in person on Friday mornings in rooms above the cafe at Hackney City farm which unfortunately doesn’t have step free access.
